EnerMax, Inc. is an independent Texas oil and natural gas company that specializes in the recovery of oil and gas reserves along the Texas/Louisiana Gulf Coast. Our mission is to acquire technology driven projects that increase in value. Our staff holds a wide range of industry experience in finance, on-shore and off-shore exploration, vertical and horizontal drilling, reworks, buybacks, mergers and oil and gas investment analysis. Our geological consultants are recognized experts in their fields. With their help, we have developed several core functions that have driven our success: Seismic Acquisitions, Geological Evaluations, Lease Acquisitions, and Technology. Seismic Acquisitions
EnerMax is currently generating prospects using several seismic surveys that cover over 1 million acres. The ability to generate prospects in-house reduces the overhead cost of each project and gives EnerMax control of every aspect from design to processing. Data from the seismic surveys is reprocessed into highly-specific maps of subsurface structures. Utilizing 3-D technology improves the probability of success for both exploration and in-field development. Drill sites selected using reprocessed 3-D seismic data are 75-80% accurate on average, while 2-D data is accurate approximately 50-55% of the time. Reservoir modeling techniques using 3-D data provides even greater detail, allowing us to select premium locations for well placement.
Geological Evaluations
All prospects generated by EnerMax are evaluated by experienced geologists with no financial interest in our drilling results. This team provides us with objective information which guides us towards the drilling locations most likely to be successful. Each prospect is assigned a grade based on its probability of success and estimated potential returns. Grade A prospects represent the most solid geological prospects, while grades B through D represent prospects that either have a low likelihood of success or low potential returns. Grade A prospects are kept by EnerMax, while lower grade prospects are sold to companies that lack the capacity to generate their own prospects.
Lease Acquisitions
EnerMax is actively pursuing exploration and development opportunities in several areas including the Texas/Louisiana Gulf Coast, South Texas and West Texas. We currently hold leases for 14,000+ acres in these regions. Future plans for additional acreage acquisitions are currently underway.
Technology
Advanced technology provides an edge in every stage of planning and decision making: prospect generation, drilling and production. Seismic imaging provides information that ensures the best projects are selected. Advanced drilling techniques enable us to access reserves in hard to reach zones at angles that ensure maximum exposure of the wellbore to the producing formation. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques increase the amount of reserves that can be recovered over the life of a well. Advanced technology is at the core of everything we do, allowing us to provide optimum results and maximum recovery for our company and our partners.
